Designing the Future of Learning Through Research, Technology, and Human-Centred Design.
I design and study digital learning experiences that combine learning sciences, human-computer interaction, artificial intelligence, and instructional design to improve education across Africa and beyond.

Evidence of reach, practice, and learner-centered work.

Research focus
Technology alone does not improve learning.
Meaningful educational experiences emerge when technology is designed around how people think, learn, and interact. My research combines Human-Computer Interaction, Learning Sciences, instructional design, and educational technology to translate evidence into practical design decisions.

Approach
“Educational technology should be designed around how people learn, not around what technology can do.”
Over the past several years, I have designed learning experiences, evaluated educational technologies, and collaborated with researchers, educators, software developers, and innovators across Africa. Those experiences ground every design decision in evidence, usability, and learner needs.
Today, I am pursuing a PhD in Computing Science at the University of Alberta, where I explore how multimedia learning principles can be reimagined for mobile-first learning environments in Sub-Saharan Africa.
My goal is to design learning technologies that are evidence-based, inclusive, culturally responsive, and capable of creating meaningful learning experiences for diverse communities.
