I study the relationship between learners, digital systems, and educational contexts—then use that evidence to design more effective, equitable, and accessible learning experiences.
Research philosophy
Rather than asking what technology can do, I ask how it can better support learning.
I believe technology alone does not improve learning. Meaningful educational experiences emerge when technology is designed around how people think, learn, and interact.
My research combines Human-Computer Interaction, Learning Sciences, instructional design, and educational technology to understand learner behaviour and translate evidence into practical design decisions.

My doctoral research investigates how established multimedia learning principles should be reconsidered for mobile-first learning environments in Sub-Saharan Africa.
I am interested in how learner context, culture, technology access, and responsible AI influence cognitive load, learner engagement, and instructional design decisions.
